Before you get out your clay, first draw a sketch of your face on a pieceof paper, so you will have a guide to work from. Begin by drawing an oval shape, then lightly pencil in the followingguide lines. You will use these lines to mark where the eyes, ears, noseand mouth should go. 1. Draw one line right down the middle of the oval. This will divideyour drawing into two even halves. 2. Draw another line across the oval, about 1/2 way down. This will beyour eye line. 3. Add a line halfway between the eye line and the bottom of your oval. Thiswill be your nose line. 4. Now it's time to draw your features using the guide lines you havejust drawn. Look in a mirror or at a photograph to help you draw featuresthat look like yours. |
